· Some people think it is a good thing for senior management positions to have very high salaries compared to other workers of the same company or organization. To what extent do you agree?
It is considered decent by some, for top level administration roles to have more wages related to other employees of the similar organization. In my opinion, employees including top level management need to be paid according to their educational level and experience which will be good for everyone and for the organization.
On one hand, senior managerial roles need to be paid well and much more compared to other employees within the organization. Managerial positions within an organization plays a huge role in the process of conducting work and aligning employees to different tasks. Even though it is not seen as they are getting involved in a lot of work like the rest of the employees, it is always the higher positions who brings up business to the company and meanwhile undergo a lot of stress.
On the other hand, it is also not right and ethical to pay a huge sum of money to top level employees while other employees are not treated well within an organization. Skills, education and knowledge must also be considered when deciding a price for an employee regardless of the position. If this is done only more value will be given to educated and skilled individuals within organizations and within the society.
In my opinion, it is always important for organizations to be bias and to decide on reasonable pay grades to all employees including top level manages.
